The Ms. America ® Pageant is growing because of the people who have been so generous. The story “STONE SOUP” explains it best.

A woman traveler comes into a little village. The woman has no food. She fills a pot with water, drops a large stone in it, and places it over a fire in the village square. One by one people came out of their homes and ask, “What are you doing?” The traveler answers that she is making “stone soup”, which is delicious, although it still needs a little bit of garnish to improve the flavor, which she is missing. The villager doesn’t mind parting with just a little bit to help her out, so it gets added to the soup. A woman says, “I have a little bit of corn.” Another says, “I have a piece of chicken” and one by one everyone puts the best they had onto that pot and they stirred up a stew that fed the entire town.

I believe that if we all put the best of what we have into the pot while standing in the light of Gods grace, we can stir up a stew that will change the world!
